Adding and Managing Servers
ServerSnug allows you to register your servers to receive targeted threat intelligence updates.
We do not collect data from your servers. Instead, our own monitoring infrastructure gathers and processes web threats,
then pushes relevant updates to you. Adding a server links it to our service for webhook deliveries
based on your configurations.
Adding a Server
Follow these steps to add your first server:
- Navigate to the Dashboard using the overhead menu. From the dashboard, click on "Add Server".
- Enter Server Details: Provide a name or label for easy identification, the server's IP address or domain, and set up a webhook URL (see Setting Up Webhooks (/help/webhooks) for details).
- Save and Verify: Submit the form. We'll send a test update to your webhook to confirm connectivity.
You can add multiple servers, scaled to your subscription tier.
Managing Servers
Once added, manage your servers efficiently:
- Editing a Server: Click on a server entry to update its details, change the webhook URL, or modify labels.
- Removing a Server: Click on the delete icon besides the server name. This stops all future updates but doesn't affect historical data.
Tips:
- Start with one server to test the setup before adding more.
- Ensure your server IPs/domains are accurate for optimal relevance in updates.
- If you manage high-traffic environments, consider higher tiers for more frequent updates.
